There are an endless amount of manga about being in love as a teenager, but I don't think any have captured the actual feeling better than this - the attempts to always be physically close, the clumsy flirting, the preoccupation after the fact. It makes me realise just how un-intimate most romance manga actually are, because they very rarely find and linger in this place of tension.

Another Mangaka would have had multiple pages of monologues, the guy getting super flustered, raising his hands, whacking his head, the girl would called him a pervert..........and I am so tired of this shit, this irony poisoning.

This may be slow but it feels like is going somewhere, I am currently catching up with Senryuu Shoujo and it can be funny and cute but the romance is excruciating,painful, it gives me second hand embarassment.
