Yeah see yall at the last chapter, when they can finally date :haa: Several chapters ago fmc was all « I can do idol work and romance at the same time, I’m a genius idol ya know? » and now she can’t even call her crush by his first name. That’s some big backpedaling performance we have here :dogewow:
Thanks for the tl

I won't lie it makes idol rules look even more stupid than they are. Just let those guys and girls have a normal love life >.>. Thanks for the chapter o/ !

I unironically love the "don't you fucking dare call a boy by his first name!"-thing. The fact that someone we're supposed to consider a human being can say something like this without a shred of irony, and the protagonist just goes like "yeah, sounds reasonable, I won't" is so completely batshit a notion, I can barely believe it's a story beat.

Let's be real, unless the author decides to end this story right way I highly doubt that the whole trying to keep an idol image is going to stay for long, it's more likely that she's going to do everything outside of calling his name and literally dating and then the manager is going to complain and say she can't even interact with him and at the point if she accepts the manga might as well be dead.

Every time I read one of these idol romcoms I feel like I'm in an abusive relationship with idol culture itself lol. Putting this on hold, see yall in a year or two when they're actually together or the manga ends with a confession 👋

Since we're talking about name. Hiruno Hizashi's name means sun light at noon while Kuromiya Rei's name means darkness in zero. In that moment Hiruno literally shine his light onto all of Kuromiya's anxiety and nervousness. Which is pretty cool.

Wrong Rei. Rei's kanji is 玲. Zero, also pronounced Rei is 零.

As for kuromiya, the 黒 is black, but the 宮 has more possible meanings like "shrine" or "imperial princess" (when used as an honorific), Not really seeing how kuromiya is "darkness".

Hiruno is 昼野 which is basically "midday field". And Hizashi is written with hiragana but you're probably right that it refers of sunlight.
