while this is an idyllic world where everything is nice and dandy..

dating apps are unhealthy especially for men and the corporations which run these have an incentive to give you a subpar experience so they can sell subscriptions.

inevitably they reinforce a culture of objectification which social media already does in spades

lol i'm sure a fancy cafe is nice once in a while if you're really into drinks but prolly wouldn't be too 'filling' versus like an izakaya

I hate dress-codes. Such places may sink under ground
And yeah, Kenta-san can make everything. And like true chef, he enjoys cooking, no matter the dish.

TBH i recommend heating the teapot with hot water- helps everything stay warm longer.

Actually Bruschetta comes from Italian and is intended as a slice of bread usually cooked or grilled and covered with oil and tomatoes (in my family usually brush garlic before grill the bread then add oil, tomatoes in cubes, onion and origano)

I thought it was gonna lead to them going to the fancy restaurant. Even going to the one they did first go to would be nice too.

"where were you hiding so many of these" :dogkek:

THIS. it shouldn't matter what i wear as long as i can pay for the service. dress codes are for stuff like wedding reception where i eat for free
while I personally agree, I feel like maybe there's some sense to it depending on how you look at it

The way other guests present themselves and behave can have a notable effect on the general atmosphere. Like, everyone following a set dress code and etiquette is completely different from if both of those were totally free-form.
This true the same way whether everyone is there "for the occasion" (like wedding etc.) or "for themselves" (like in a fancy restaurant)

Sounds kinda pompous, but then again so are probably many of the people who prefer such an experience for their outings :pacman:
