A teacher made lemon tofu for us once tho the way my mom always prepped it was fried with meat stuffed in it which cancels out the “vegetarian/health” aspect but not like deep fried so hopefully not too much of the nutrients was lost on it lol

Always good to have spare shoes I guess but I only ever wore sandals for like the backyard if we needed to go out on the porch or trash duty but I’d def choose them over like high heels tho other than sneakers I don’t think I owned too many “girly” flat shoes even tho some are cute (tho I do like fashion but never cared much for shoes), tho walking around them for too long would make it uncomfortable if it had that big toe strap versus more like slippers

I feel that flip flops somehow aren't comfortable? The way they don't want to stay on my feet is exhausting... Maybe I've been wearing the wrong sizes, though.
Japanese sandals might be better quality like how the 711-konbinis are nicer there than in the west but I’m sure there are some with built in insoles or so

Tho “fashion faux pas” aside I usually don’t wear too many shoes without socks, even for heels , not that I’ve ever “needed” to wear any , pantyhose aside I think it’d feel too sweaty to not have something inn between a shoe and bare foot, house slippers might be more ideal but you can’t wear those out (well you could if you don’t give af about being side eyed or them potentially getting dirty)

There's a reason crocs and other foam shoes are the actual lazy everyday wear.

I've only wore flip flops when I go to a nearby convenience store or something, they don't feel comfortable to wear longterm.

It's cute how whenever she finds something she likes, she goes hard on it until it's too much lol

This product was the inspiration for a brand called Havaianas. In the beginning, it was only two colors: white-black and white-blue, and was considered a product for very poor people. The company spent a lot of money on advertising and launched several models. It changed its image and is now exported to several countries. It's not that expensive, but poorer people prefer to buy products from other brands because they're cheaper.
