@rluka Cushion foundation is liquid foundation, but with the liquid soaked into a sponge (i.e. the cushion) instead of being in a bottle/tube. The cushion is then put in a compact and you apply it using a puff. By contrast powder foundation is a container of powder that you apply to your face via brush.

@rluka No problem. You're right that you can apply powder foundation with a puff/sponge instead of a brush, but it depends on the product and how you intend to use it. "Powder foundation" is a very broad category of makeup lol.
