That's assuming registration works the same. I find the legality of whoever making these VR machines having a direct interface to the human body as the more curious point, for it to simulate senses and proprioception that means they have a nigh-complete read of your human body on record, at least in the machine itself. How many hoops did the company jump through to get that level of intrusiveness, how much regulation and legislation was worked on and passed to get this miracle device as a gaming tool.

This thing will work better than fingerprints and retina scanners for ID confirmation

Wouldn't even necessarily take experimenting. We've got real world examples of people who can't even clear tutorials, and anyone who has spent any real time playing any multiplayer games has almost certainly run into people who make the steam roller guy from Austin Powers look competent at avoiding death.

Yeah, I already said my concerns on this series about its poorly made MMO setting, and the requirements for the skill + title is also laughably easy to achieved for a full support class, which makes it even more obvious that author gave pulled some BS on the MC for a mere plot convenience. 😂

Even then, if this game supports changing classes (and it seems to do so!) you can do everything in one account.
Transfer all your valuables where they are not affected, be it a storage or trading with a trusted party, reset your class, muck around and write that wiki or whatever.

If a new unique skill is found overnight then by next day you will have 100s of youtubers making videos about and someone would already have speedrunned it.
