I thought that “Frank Grimes was right” was the whole point of the episode.

you should watch "the cult of work" by renegade cuts. while the simpsons writer intended it for grimes to be right, other people saw it very differently.

basically, frank grimes blames homer for a bunch of stuff that really wasn't homer's fault. he takes everything homer does as an attack on him, when in fact homer has tried to do everything he could to be grimes' friend.

Admittedly I wasn't a huge fan of the series initially but I'm really glad you and I stuck with it cause it's a nice laff every now and again.

The concept itself was really stupid, but it took a lot of work

I went through the entire series and made sure nearly every character no matter how minor made an appearance

As with most shock comedy, this strip has the ability to really call attention to and force us to address critical issues, even if we can only acknowledge our own powerlessness.
Don't be afraid to use this strip to call out things that you think aren't right, even if you think that your audience won't like what's being said.
Sometimes we have to face a bitter truth, humour is a good way of delivering it.
