1 he has superhuman reflexes but he couldn't stop a knee to the crotch? BS
2 a human could outrun a vampire? BS
3 a human like her poses ANY fate other than to submit to a vampire like him or die? Super forced BS.
Forced writing making her OP and him underpowered but only when it comes to her. Also if he's old as hell he wouldn't be tolerating a human, let alone a woman, disrespecting him. But I'm guessing they're trying to draw in female readers with illogically strong FMC instead of having her just be smart and strike a deal, protection for subsistence.
I'd say the same thing if genders were reversed. A single human can't face down a vampire without being like a special forces member with gear and training.

1. How the hell was he supposed to stop an attack from somewhere he can't even see ?
2. She ran away out of his sight while he was fighting, the fuck are you on about ?
