Nice to see Basho being useful. The tier 1's shenanigans are very interesting, but I wish they will switch back to mafia and spiders soon or Tsudonke will not has enough time to hunt for all the autographs....

Delicious, delicious intrigue.

So... Halkenburgue is the secret child? Fucked up man, he is such a stand-up guy, not that it changes who he is but his significance in this shitshow changes a LOT.

The trick to save the young princes is finding a way to break through the barrier of the ritual, which I have to say... it is probably easier winning the war than that, I say this considering the amount of time, resources, and skill necessary to break the barrier compared to simply fighting the war.

A barrier of this caliber is scary stuff.

Man, so happy that Togashi has recovered a bit, I can only imagine how terrible it must be for a dedicated artist like him not to be able to do his craft as he likes.

Every time a new set of chapters for this arc releases, I have to reread the entire arc, because keeping up with this complex scheming between a dozen or so factions with multi-year breaks in between is impossible. Makes me almost miss the giant breaks during the Chimera Ant arc, at least that was a pretty simple one.

Wait, when was that established again? I have not reread the entire arc, so I forgot a lot about Halkenburg's actions, but as far as I'm aware the whole thing about Netero having a secret child among the princes was only revealed last chapter only to Kurapika, 14th's mother and the other hunter.

Just in this chapter when Melody is talking about how they put all the secret info the justice department has on the princes, they mentioned specifically "the truth about Prince Halkenburg's birth".

Unless it is something else... it can only mean one thing when you factor in the reveal of the last chapter.

There's other theories, for instance he might be a secret son of the first queen because they look alike.

Does this mean that Kurapika has already shared the information about the curse assasins and Netero's plan with the rest of the ship's Hunters? For some reason I thought he would keep quiet about it for now, but I guess it makes sense...
I haven't missed Melody's dialogue, but what I don't get is how they were able to already determine it's Halkenburg. Somehow I expected this to be an unresolved mystery for at least a couple more chapters, having the answer cpme out of nowhere this fast feels weird.

Edit: after rereading the chapter, it seems like while Kurapika and the reader have only recently learnt about Netero's child being among the princes, the Justice Bureau have found it out independently (if that is indeed what "truth about Halkenburg's birth" is). However, this does not necessarily mean they know about the nen curse.

congrats on becoming the key player in the world's most fucked up Locked Room scenario Kurapika, do your best to get everyone out in one piece

with all the pieces on the board (and the Troupe + Hisoka running around in the background), this is going to be one hell of an international incident

I think Kurapika is playing his card closely.

The assassin may still be one he didn't reveal because it would throw a wrench into too many things that he couldn't control.

Yeah, The Justice Bureau probably doesn't know about the curse, Nen is a very closely guarded secret even if it doesn't look like it, many that know about its existence don't know its mechanics, only practitioners seem to have that knowledge.

By the looks of it, even the underworld's nen users don't go around giving knowledge to just anyone.

No wonder he takes years off. Feels like I read a year's worth in just one chapter 😂

Damn, I love this series.
