years late but rifled barrels are thing and are generally used for slugs while huntingA shotgun..... with a sniper rifle's scope? The hell author smoking?
Don't bother man it has an official English already which is why I stopped. Yes you can find them for free also on certain other sites but not in mangadex. Support the artist/author and buy a copy so we can maybe get an anime one day.Don't anyone get your hopes up, buuuut... My brother and I are gonna see about picking this up this title sometime in the next month or so - we're fixing to move into a new home, so we gotta make sure everything is settled before we take on something like this.
Fair warning: it will be MTL, but we're native speakers of English, and even better, we're both military veterans, so we do know a thing or two about guns. That said, I don't see a whole lot of wordplay going on in this title, so there shouldn't be much lost in translation.
No promises, though. We're like the red-headed stepchildren of Murphy over here. ("Murphy", here, as in Murphy's Law - "Anything that can go wrong is liable to go wrong, and usually at the worst possible moment.") Life just loves to find interesting ways of shitting all over us.
But if we do pick it up? We'll likely see it through to the end, no matter if someone comes along and tries to snipe us. Cause if they do? In fine military tradition, we'll simply take that as the gauntlet being thrown and say, "Challenge accepted, motherfuckers."
Also, expect extended commentaries at the end of each chapter - it could be about anything, such as translation notes, the weapons being used, tactics, or even just how much of a lucky bastard our boy the MC is for bagging a hot-ass Amazonian of an elf-lady who'll give Wonder Woman a fair run for her money in every way possible.
Haven't I told you before how buying the officially licensed version does practically NOTHING to support the mangaka? Licensing deals ARE NOT paid on a month-to-month basis. It's a one-then-done lump sum, and usually covers several years worth of publishing rights. And a title has to become INSANELY popular or long-running to get a renewal. Titles that are long-lived like One Piece or popular like Oh My Goddess.Don't bother man it has an official English already which is why I stopped. Okay then buy the Japanese then stop having a sperg out. I have bought the original novel and manga volume because I am aware of this I hardly ever buy the official but its better than reading it here and you're gonna have a tough time to even get people to go into the site it's uploaded on and give the manga a like or a view. You're not gonna convince them to buy something they can't read let alone have to go through the trouble of navigating JP be or Amazon. A little support is better than no support. Even just recently the arist made a post about how happy they were that 500k saw their manga in a x post that included panels from the official translation.Haven't I told you before how buying the officially licensed version does practically NOTHING to support the mangaka? What's more is that buying the official translation won't even keep a title from the chopping block because the Japanese publishers don't give a damn about overseas sales. They're only concerned over domestic sales. Why? See above. They're not making much off the royalties, so why should they care if something becomes insanely popular in a country like the USA? And I'm pretty sure that it has happened before - that a title did great in the USA, but absolutely piss-poor in Japan, so it got axed despite being popular in a market where the original publisher could have made a lot more money.
Which brings me here: I would gladly translate a title even if it has an official translation. And rather than panhandle for "donations" or "tips", I would instead ask that folks spend their money instead on buying the original Japanese language copies off of sites like Bookwalker. Because that will generate the royalty revenue that the mangaka actually gets, and it will boost the sales numbers that will keep a title away from the chopping block.
You dumb ass. That's part of why I want to scanslate this title. I provide the English translation. The people who read it can then support the mangaka and buy the original without having to also buy the licensed version.Okay then buy the Japanese then stop having a sperg out. This is also a win for the readers in that if they don't like it, they don't have to buy it.
And it's not that hard to navigate sites like Bookwalker. Let alone Amazon.co.jp - it's no different from the .com or any other language version of the website. Hell, I can do it without even bothering with a VPN to spoof my location - that's only for a sellers that have closer ties to the publishers and are trying to preventscanslationpiracy by cutting people off at the source.
Also, what part of "The publishers do not track foreign sales" do you not understand? Say, for instance, some of your dollar does go to the mangaka by buying the official translation. It might do the mangaka a teeny-tiny bit of good... up until the publisher goes, "Yeah, we're not quite seeing the sales figures we want, so we're going to have to cancel your manga. Of course, you do know that as per the contract you signed with us, you're not legally allowed publish this story with anyone else or on a self-publishing platform, right?" Which screws over not only the mangaka but also the people who actually did want to keep reading their story.
you're trully regarded aren't you?Bro no one is going through the trouble of doing that. It's much easier to just go on one of those other manga sites and find the licensed version there. I've already tried to get people to buy the JP version even with a bar code it doesn't work people are lazy. They're more likely to buy the licensed version instead or read it for free somewhere else. I've even asked for people to go into the JP site and just hit a 👍 button. Shit didn't work.
Your time would be better used doing a manga that has no official TL. But you do you.
Bro I've done it before it doesn't work as much as he thinks it will. I've even put step by step instructions on how to just like a manga before whose continuation depends on interactions. Barely anyone does it. You're better off telling people there's an English TL and to buy it. Or do what realPaulbunyan or whatever used to do. I know what I'm talking about. Check chapter 5 credits page I even mention the same shit he's talking about.you're trully regarded aren't you?

I'm the one who worked on the first few chapters numb nuts. I literally posted stuff similar to what the other guy said but it doesn't really help. And I know how it works anyone who has ever scanlated know how it works. Most of the time when an official translation has started a series is dropped. Look up how many LH translation has dropped because of this despite how popular they seemed to be. The only time I'd think this would be a good idea if the official translation was by a relatively unknown pub or in their site. Like comic bang uploads their manga in English but barely anyone knows about the app. Either way stop acting like you know anything. Blocking you, stop acting pretentious.so much words, so little understanding of a situatiom.
Which is not suprising considering how regarded you're.
Fr lol. This manlet achieved more in 3 chapters than most MC's do in 200. Winner!
