It looks to me like Xun Yu saw the 8th genius back when he talked with Sima Yi because their words were the same, and the theory about the replacement of Sima Yi by Zhao Sheng aka the 8th looks the most reasonable to me for now

I'm so confused i've always though that the analogy of that dream was that after Sima Yi takes power Zhao Yun will try to kill him to avenge Xiao Meng since in the dream he was stabbed with hundreds of spears just like how Xiao Meng died, also i think i remember that Zhao Yun said to Sima Yi after Xiao Meng's death that he's going to kill him after Sima Yi takes full control.
