IANAL, but what the monkey did sounds a lot more like 2nd degree murder than involuntary manslaughter. Also, shouldn't the chestnut (or egg), bee, and maybe horseshit have died during the confrontation with the monkey? What do they care about sentencing?

Okay so the next chapter will release this month on the 26th. All the previous chapters were released on a monthly schedule. It says continued in the April month is because it will be released in an issue called the April Issue of Monthly Shonen Ace. If you check the last page of the previous issue it says continued in the March issue. So the wait is not that long hope that helps.

As a person that know literally nothing about japanese lit I find them at least very interesting. Even if not much happened in "main" plot
