Airsoft guys usually have neat trigger dicipline, they may be playing pretend but they still take their stuff seriously, i'm not saying they wouldn't turn into nutjobs, but people turned into mad max style clowns too quick, even for 4 channers this is too over the top.

@Killian_ from what I've seen? No, it really really isn't. A lot of people just like seeing other people hurt, and feel that because life turned out worse than it "ought to", that the world as a whole deserves to burn. They don't connect their suffering to any specific wider system or ideology, it's just a general "fuck others" attitude. You get it on 4chan, on 8chan (rip in pieces, the only good parts of you were /homosuck/ and /sugen/, 8kun will never surpass you), heck you even get it on more mainstream sites like reddit. It's true that people don't say "lol neck yourself n*****" as often as they used to, but that's just because the whole movement got a lot more intellectualized by things like the red/blackpill and conservative thought leaders like Crowder and Peterson. For 2009-era chan boards? This is the exact type of person that pops out of there.
