Then the promo chapter had me quite apprehensive that this might be unreadable garbage...

Then the first chapter happened, and it was magnificent. I swear I can't remember laughing this hard any time this year as I have reading this.

This is very good. Just skip the intro/promo, and ignore the bad description. I never thought I'd read a better comedy than "The Lady and the Beast", but this is it. 10/10.
