Surprised you didn't use the 4 volume Wide-Ban version, maybe there more expensive?

Anyway that's more dedication than me (I use digitals cause I know how to rip them, don't know how to use a scanner, don't know how to level it, and I don't want to make a mess)

I just grabbed the cheapest edition I could get, (not saying the postage was cheap). I just was so dissatisfied with the digital quality in comparison, ebook should re-release their old over 10 year old books. Only the color pages are from the ebook. The digital was so bad that it made almost impossible to read some of the furigana which is quite important for some of the jokes.

And I don't even have a scanner what you see is just pictures taken with 4k phone camera, and free scan app. Of course, I'm quite good with cleaning up the remaining noise from the pictures. I have now scanned through the first 2 volumes, and I have to say it was quite painless to use iron to heat the bind and take the pages out. After I scanned I "hammered" the pages back with the old glue and the books are basically as if never unbound.
