I would just like to remind everyone that's waiting for the father's redemption arc. The actions he took don't deserve redemption. Nothing beyond there having been full mind control in which he had NO control over his actions could possibly make the things he did okay. He doesn't deserve redemption.

Why I am saying this here? I'm kinda high and this thought shot thru my head, so I'm commenting it.

@Squishyy88 you can see the spirits even if you aren't a spirit user by coming into contact with one and ensuring there's clear energy transference or smth of that sort.

So our little bitch knew it and used that information to make it seem as if she was a user ?

Is the ancestor's story the reason why the family apparently started a "tradition" of not treating their children affectionately? Like, bc of the way the ancestor acted, and how there was such a disparity between how the younger and older sister ended up being treated, did there end up being some event that made them go "you know what, we need to treat the kids neutrally and impartially"? Because if so, that's a total fuckton of bs. The audacity the men of these families have to treat their children like trash just on the possibility that their wives could have cheated--children should not automatically inherit the sins of their parentage...it is not the fault of the child that one of the parents cheated.
Thinking about it, it's incredible that Keira's great-aunt appears affectionate as well...I'm so confused why Keira's father is the way he is, given that her aunt seems to emote normally and all that.

For those who wonder around about Cosette, as someone put is spoilers before, the real Cosette was a boy, unborn. The mother made a pact with a demon, who basically parasites the shell of the body.
Guesses from the first route, after they murdered the saintess most likely demons went their way to destroy, since there's no one to stop them, and likely Cosette demon did something to Keira and her powers.

But really, with all the neutral bs, in the previous life, the father wasn't neutral in the least. He clearly overprotected someone who claimed to be his daughter without a second thought, and threw away his real one like nothing. It would be great to see his expression after the reveal in the previous life that everyone who kept telling him that Keira was his real daughter were right and he just killed her. Wonder how many faults would he carry, and all the hate, specially from the brother.

what im understanding is that for resonance to be possible both people touching have to have the potential to be spirit user. so cosette IS one and did manifest earlier than our protag for whatever reason. which is still the mystery. she might be a distant relative afterall or something. still hate that bitch lol. cant wait for her to appear soon so we can see her plans fall apart
