There's a ton of romcom/isekai manga that try to cater to the readers by having the protagonist be a basic bitch(just think of all the plain looking protags that literally say "im just a regular guy hurdur" even their dream is the same (almost always a teacher) Yet despite that, they always get the girl or the harem or whatever.

Maybe this is an extension of that, by literally having a super loser protag, and this time the girl likes him specifically because shes a blood sucking demon parasite that loves losers(and maybe making fun of NEETs and other people reading this that are also losers) Idk that my 2 cents anyway

You made me realize that this manga is a role inversion of that kind of guy that has a zero-self-worth girlfriend that he controls by, for example, negging.
