If they only focused on the "childhood friend" part instead of the training arc. The training should've been just a filler, not the focus.

Ight after reading just about everything everyone said here, I'm comong in reading this story prepared and I already made up my mind for reading this since my gut feeling is iching my to give this a try

Well damn. I finished reading this and it was pretty good, shame that there was apparently tons if stuff cut out so I guess I'll read the novel to get all of it

It’s bit sad to see that this manga was only promotional (if it earns money then continue type)

I agree with a lot of the comments, they should focus more on the development of the mid-boss (cuz of the title), the training arc is okay but it shouldn’t be replacing the childhood friend arc

I just hope that one day this manga gains traction for it continue
