Absolutely, it's like a riff on it where the people in his squad are straight up psychos, and instead of being super motivated chuuni he's just kinda lazy and doesn't want to die.

I kinda hope they always keep his as a "mastermind" kind of pet to the super powered sins, and doesn't get powerful on his own.
