A pretty funny story stained by homophobia, and a disregard to cultural oppression.
Edit for Context: The Elves were enslaved by humanity as a whole, where as Elves fought back against their opression and killed Lily's parents. Lily should rightfully distain the perpetrators for unjust violence, but distaining an entire race for fighting back against their races oppressions is an absurd thing, and the author is writing in such a way that Lily is some how good for not fervently hating Godhand. "We will never understand each other" is just a reductively stupid thing to say to a situation of two people in entirely different situations.

Didn't Lily's parents expressly treat elves well only to be betrayed and get the entire village that sheltered the elves burn down? It's not like Lily is prejudice is shown to be good thing so I don't know how you got that from the story.
