Here's my review after reading 20 chapters. And why I decided to drop it after 20 chapters. This is my opinion so take it with a grain of salt. Since my review is long, I will put it under a spoiler.

Story: 2/10
First thing every potential reader must know, this is an isekai genre. The second thing you should know, if you like plots where the FL tries to change the course of the story, this is it for you.

The beginning started off cliché, but interesting, but as the chapters goes on, the story becomes dull or stale. I don't even know where the plot is going into and I don't feel like it's going to be worth the pay off. The characters doesn't help either, which I will list down in a separate section.

Characters: 3/10
Oh god, how do I even describe the FL (Female Lead)? She is dumb, naive, ignorant to the world around her - and she didn't even bother to get information outside from her "in-knowledge" of the world that she read. And worse part? We're mostly reading the adaption from her POV and I cannot help but emphasize how ignorant she is.

Don't get me started on the potential MLs (Male Leads). I don't read the novel, so I don't know who is the real ML here. Either way, they're ALL horrible choices. You have one that is her husband in marriage, her step-son, and as for chapter 20, we might have another ML which is a child, which is
the Kingdom's Prince.

One more thing before I end this. They all refuse to properly communicate with each other which leads to a lot of secret-keeping from each other. The worst of all are the MLs (husband and step-son). The FL? Clueless to everything ongoing in the household and outside the household., and yes, that includes the goddamn politics in and out of the household which is essential as a Duchess.

Conclusion:
If you like isekai, this is it. If you like isekai with dumb characters, good, cause this is the perfect choice. But if you don't meet one of the two criteria, you're not going to enjoy this manhwa.

Eh, it’s just the FL stuck in her narrow minded view of the novel she read. She is hell bent on believing it is all just the novel world and not her own reality. This is an interesting concept, but I see the author never revealing to the FL that her son is an evil piece of shit. The author will milk the shit out of this misunderstanding and bend the plot so that she falls upwards in the hearts of the son and father, while being blinded by their facades. By the point she finds out about them they would have been pacified enough by her that it would just be a small shock. I hate stories that rely on misunderstandings because that shit grows old quick.

Yes... yes.. here we go again.. Miss-goody-two-shoes who will once again based everything from what she knows in the 'novel'.
Sometimes, I do not know myself, too, if I am crazy or what. I told myself that I will wait first to pile this up but I just suddenly 'clicked' and read this again.

😅🤣😂

Dropped. The FL is just so ignorant and frustrating to watch for more than 10 chapters. You can see the plot from miles away and somehow the least likable out of a cast of literal murderers. I’d much rather see a story from the POV of the emotionless duke than this naive, ignorant, FL that refuses to accept reality.

Is it just me... or?
it’s actually so annoying how she has so much empathy for Ain, but has so little compassion for the duke? Like, how can she be like “poor Ain” and then completely look over the fact that the duke was also a victim of his family’s upbringing?

The FL is just really stupid. It might get better if she faces reality. Also how old is Ain supposed to be because she's treating him like a daycare aged kid?

Honestly speaking I don’t care about that elisha or the prince. I only care about Ain and the duke, so if elisha never shows interest in Ain then I’m good but even if she does I don’t really think he will like her like the story.

@Victuuri I think so too lol, but that's kinda normal since she was teacher in her previous life so her instinct kinda protecc children, and thinking that grown up should be able to save themselves
