I like how it ended. But I think something cool and interesting could've happened if she was rescued after Lefton started sawing her arm. So she'd end up losing the arm or would be so badly damaged that it doesn't move and work properly. Just something that'd leave a constant reminder of what happened. Something that the MC would have to overcome and learn to deal with. The extra attention that'd be shifted onto her. Having to learn to use only one arm and so on.
