anne’s cool and sharp, i’m glad she’s finally addressing the point of estelle acting (a lil too much) like a child. it’s esp weird for us readers since we know she’s been reincarnated. also emiel being all “🤪⚔️“ is just plain old ridiculous. how in the world did it take estelle 4+ years to find out about this side of him...

btw does anyone find the pacing in this batch of chs weird? I honestly wasn’t expecting a time skip. but thank u the scans group for the mass release anyhow!!! a pleasant surprise to be sure

Emiel being harsh and cruel on training is actually not weird to me. Especially from his experience as a guardian of Estelle. He said that he will sooner die than let Estelle be hurt, but it turned out different.
Probably the helplessness that he felt when Estelle was kidnapped made him develop this side of his.

Is it bad that he is harsh and cruel? Well, if it's during a training of a regular army, yeah it's kinda bad. Lotsa people will just quit.
If it's during training of special unit (of some sorts) which are the knights (not just a regular troop but a true knight) then being determined to succeed, to always be better will give better results.
That's how the modern special forced train, they force people to quit and when they don't, they are fit to be the best.

The other matter is his loyalty. Is he unloyal to Estelle by hiding his cold side? Or is he cold and harsh on others for her sake?

Or is he just simple a little sick in the head and he just can't help it anymore, not sure about it xD

sorry y’all, from novel spoilers a while back i read somewhere that the ship i see most of y’all don’t want is gonna happen........ also .... they have a 6 year age gap at most, and like Anne said, Estelle has been acting younger than her age for a while now bc it’s her shield/ coping mechanism. she was also smaller than others bc of neglect and also in comparison to others bc the people around her in the story were older than her. not sayin I want the ship to happen but Author-nim kinda has been setting it up for a while now............
