Oh that was a great conversation! It's bothered me the whole time that she's so childish even though she's reincarnated. I had supposed it could have been explained by her severely abusive and traumatic reincarnation childhood, which would definitely affect any adult's mentality, but it still seemed that she was more simplistic than someone as experienced as she is should be.

I like that this conversation teased out some very important points related to all of that. I'd honestly thought that it just might not be deep enough of a story, but this seems to show that the creator knew clearly what they were doing the whole time.

Looking forward to how this develops from now.

(Side-opinion: I don't mind whether this is romance or not. If it's Emiel, then I do feel that's preferable to some very-cliche prince-like guy showing up at some point, because I can feel the slow development and complexity of Estelle and Emiel's relationship. So, personally, not really bothered provided any romance is done well.)

I really, really don't want to see this becoming a romance, because I just know it'll be with Emil, and I just don't see them as a couple. He's more of a big brother type of guy.
I can see her way more easily with even Anne (who can she talk to properly and who shows her negative sides as well, shared trauma + understanding also) or even Riddle, who, too, is more her equal with his home situation.

so, essentially, just hoping there'll be more plot, less romance incoming!

@Aurinne yeah so does everyone forget she's from Earth that's because besides 1st chapter the only time it's mentioned is when she's tortured and apparently common knowledge for high school girls how to withstand torture and send ur mind somewhere else, wow curriculum has changed sense i went to school

@legendaryswordsman Oh, maybe I didn't read that carefully enough; I assumed she knew how to deal with it because it's how she learned to cope with her abusive childhood in the current lifetime. If it was from her previous life...then yeah, that's some pretty heavy stuff for an average high schooler to know!

@Aurinne yeah i think we are all used to isekai with no common sense where lead is somehow able to remember everything he wants to cook from scratch. Only one where that's ok is Smartphone because has access to all info.
