Although I'm grateful for the scanlators, I have a few legitimate questions. Is this a slice of life manhua? I was originally interested in reading this when I saw the reincarnation tag, but after 21 chapters nothing really has happened besides a few cute moments between MC and her dad, brother, and knights. Does something more interesting happen in the near future?

She doesn't really act her age either. And I don't mean by when she's around other people, since obviously she would have to act like a kid. I mean her thought processes and her lack of emotional maturity. For example, when she tells her dad she wanted to change escorts without giving any explanation. Of course the duke would think she didn't like emiel, but it seems like that didn't cross her mind at all.

Wasn't she 23 when she was reincarnated?

@TheLonelyCabbage well I think the abuse her mother did made her forget all her past life memories, when she was drowning in the box, she remembered only bits of her past life.

Feels like all the reincarnation and memories did was have her be slightly more mature and never really touched upon other than being mentioned in the beginning of the story once or twice.

The one thing that doesn't make sense on this one is

For Estelle to be born it means the duke has to have had sex with a human, and aren't the Castiellos repulsed by humans (and vice-versa) in the first place? I also find it hard to imagine that duke would look for recreational sex, though i don't discard that possibility but that means either the duke got raped or seduced somehow by Estelle's mother, probably so she'd use the child to threaten/blackmail the duke, but that also begs the question of why did her mother wait so long to show her to him? Did she think Estelle wasn't a Castiello either because she wasn't born with black hair and pink eyes, and only blackmailed after she found she was indeed a castiello? That'd explain why Estelle was so poorly treated by her mother i guess.

@the_spirit Yea really the reincarnation part is basically nonexistent in this so I wonder why they even bothered with it. If they're gonna use it later on then I still don't see why they bothered adding it in.

@The_Spirit @babyroxasman I agree that they could do more with the "reincarnation" bit, but it has actually had a very significant, albeit subtle, influence on her life so far. Most obvious is her maturity, but most important is her mentally (and probably physically)surviving her mother's horrible neglect. She had her memories to focus on while in the box and her knowledge to help her take care of herself(I'm making assumptions here, but I highly doubt such a mother would have properly cared for Estelle). Any normal child without memories would have been in far worse shape than she is in, and while Estelle did end up with some amount of PTSD, it's mostly in the form of being afraid of thunder and rain(since she almost drowned inside the box and suffered the sound of thunder during said stressful event). Surprisingly, she doesn't seem to have issues with tight spaces, but it could simply be that I'm remembering things incorrectly or it hasn't been addressed yet.

Regardless, the reincarnation sub-plot has definitely been mostly thrown to the side. We'll just have to wait and see what the author decides to do with it aside from her maturity, assuming they do something with it at all.

Edit: According to Reraru a few comments below, there's actually very little influence her past memories have had on her, so maybe everything I've said means very little, if anything at all. I guess I haven't been paying enough attention to the story if I didn't realize how little she remembers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I like the story but Jesus Christ the TL team needs to up their game on Proofreading and QC a lot, you make several spelling errors and you keep changing the names of the characters between chapters.
