Ok so from what I'm understanding is that the cat was siphoning off of the extra energy off of him. Is the cat didn't do that, he would overflow of energy and hurt himself. Sooo the cat is actually doing good.

Nono, came into his life and because he likes her, his energy is becoming unstable and his growing to the point where the cat can't siphon the energy off of him fast enough.
