The more appropriate (or not since it's way longer) would be "the killing intent bastard", since she's referring to his murder glare at her during the party earlier.

And for the dean, it should be aloof.

Yeaa I use Aloof for the Dean but for the knight... there's a pool of names to choose from so i go with the shortest XD (For the Sakki (殺気), I was actually wavering between bloodlust, bloodthirsty, and murderous.)

@Lafarin : You should consider going back and changing the earlier bit at the party to be the same so the reference will make more sense.

Why is it so bad for the heroine to be close to the primce but three guys are allowed to actually ntr her??

Thos is the hypocrisy I hate about the villaness MC genre. The Heroine is condemned for trying to build a harem but we have the vilaness MC doing the same thing and the only excuse is "hurrr durr shes dense". Protagonist centered morality.

Yeah heroine is a bitch for trying to frame the vilaness but this shit happened even before that

That accusation was rather poorly set up regardless of the truth of the matter. Their entire accusation depended on the testimony of a girl who barely remembered the incident in question and they weren't certain of how she'd respond. He may have been a prince but she was the daughter of a duke. Not someone you should make accusations against lightly and without solid evidence (of which they had none).

Thank you for the translation!
But that machine translation sure is harsh towards the icy guy 🤣

Well, there’s a difference between ‘hanging around’ and ‘clinging’

Maria’s fault isn’t that she’s close the the prince but
1. She clings on to him (having intimate touch)
2. She butt into a conversation between the upper-nobles (Yes, Irene followers did that too and it’s already shown through Ria’s reaction that it’s not alright to do so)
3. She falsely accuses Irene in order for them to break off the engagement

Also I don’t think This has anything to do with NTR. Irene followers may admire her but they didn’t try to break them up with false claims like Maria did in this chapter.

(More over, we know that Irene got some rumours about being close to lots of guys so we can see here that it’s not like people turn blind eyes at her. Though just ‘hanging around’ isn’t a condemn-able crime as oppose to Maria being physical and such)

Well, that’s just what I’ve seen so far so I can’t actually say that is exactly what it is. Who knows what’s behind the scene and what’s to come?
