@kaylani Aaahh omg Will 😓
I remember skipping over his POV too. It was fine for a while, but then the author just can't seem to stop torturing him.

@BlackElite If it's going the same direction as the novel,
it won't be not much of a love triangle because our FL is adorably dense and loyal AF.

Thank you for the update! ❤

@OraOraApril19 Now that I think about it, this flower bullshit doesn't even make any sense because the royal family practices polygamy (wasn't that why the FL didn't want to get married to him?). Why would they go through all of that troube to have a "fated maiden" and put their position and EVEN LIFE at risk, in the unlikely event that she would refuse or die (I don't remember clearly), just to then have multiple spouses??!! A lot of things don't add up, maybe it's gonna be explained later (I didn't read the novel), but it's probabla just a plot hole. Well anyways I shouldn't expect much from such a story.

Ah yes, obligatory jealous ML plot coming up.

With an extra serving of possessive/jealous sexy times included.

Probably gonna be some hickeys/biting thrown in too.

@OraOraApril19 no actually, the manga didn't explain it very well because they're cramming so much content but the partner doesn't have to be the fated maiden for them to be kings. The Royal Flower is no more than a ritual for reasons explained later, it doesnt have to be with the fated maiden and can bloom on anyone as long as theyre a virgin.

The polygamy privilege for the royals is there just in case if the current king meet his fated maiden, but he had already married someone else and performed the royal flower ritual. In this case the king can bring his fated maiden as a concubine.

In the novel it was explained that most of the past kings didnt even get to meet their fated maiden, so freed is actually quite blessed in this case.

@einherz Just a thought: maybe some of those previous kings met their fated maidens, but the women weren't maidens any more.

@chonkury yea maybe but even if their fated maiden is no longer a maiden as long as they didnt perform the royal flower ritual (since it is only once in a lifetime, so if they fucked up by performing it on non-virgins then its gg) they are fine.

@einherz Now I'm curious about why that ritual exists in the first place; I probably missed something, but I don't see the benefit of it other than, idk, bragging rights? A convenient excuse to take a concubine (or a wife, for an unmarried monarch) regardless of her social standing? I suppose I'll have to wait until that gets explained.

I've had enough of manga tropes with "Oh my Man-whore playboy falls in love with a girl who's a virgin and never had boyfriends".
Like c'mon, he has already had his fill and fun by sleeping with every single girl in the neighborhood, but then you don't want if the girl you love does the same as you. Some f**Ked up story line.
Can someone please just recommend me some good mangas where the FL and ML have equal footing regarding sexual life before dating each other (like both are virgins/both are not virgin).
This "playboy meets virgin girl" trope is making me feel like guys can have fun pouring their needs here and there while the girl has to be pure and Innocent. Disgusting
