@Graywing because he doesnt want to get involved in worldly affairs hes too arrogant to be bothered OR manga cuts the parts where he thinks about this stuff and only shows us action, and details & important character analysis/inner thoughts are scrapped in the progress like most web novels that turned from wrirings to visual form.
