This could potentially be quite interesting. Though, the original character of the novel seems kinda... pitiful and, far as I can tell, didn't really do anything wrong? Just imitating someone doesn't mean they are bad.

The fact that the maid's surprised the FL didn't run off crying after the first sentence should really be all the explanation necessary. The maid didn't think she was going to be punished at all, because the FL's original soul was a complete pushover, and never fought back.

The ??? from this chapter has more to do with the story pacing being a bit weird. Character motivations not clearly shown/hinted at with body languages/thought bubbles, etc. Basically, it's missing some panels in between which would have made the reading easier. The fact that I got pinged with two different explanations that I find to be equally viable proves my point lol.
Idk, it's just a feeling I get when reading, something flows weird.
