I think that was her gay awakening (or just, "shit I like my friend" as opposed to "a friend who's a girl"). It's not brought up here but iirc her aunt also warned her to never fall in love, so that might be another reason why she took a step back from their friendship.
That said, I'm not too sure what that means for her relationship with Bibi anymore, if Amy is aware that she's into her/might be into her eventually, and if she'll also break things off with Bibi when she realises she does

I don't think it was romantic "like" more platonic "like" in this case. She's doubting herself if she really likes Camilla when she sees Camilla having what she(Amy) can't have for herself. I think the conflict is more about Amy's feelings of admiration towards her friend for always standing up for her but also her envy (and maybe even hatred?) towards Camilla's healthy relationship with her parents.

Camilla is also not able to understand the trauma faced by both Amy and her Aunt so she's not able to fully grasp the severity of the situation that would cause Amy's aunt to be so mad.

It's somewhat like a gay awakening chapter, but it's because of the dude, not Camillia.

Amy didn't feel a thing after that dude confession, even went as far as thinking that he needed help just for liking her. So we as viewer can understand that Amy is a true lesbian, this is what not into guys looks like.

Amy likes Camillia AS A FRIEND, as in genuinely PLATONIC like. The situation with the dude, which somewhat happened because Camillia set it up, caused Amy to face the thing she hate the most, her aunty dissapointment, and Camillia acting so carelessly afterward didn't help at all. The whole thing reminded Amy of the feelings she had for Camillia other than like, hatred and jealousy.

"Don't cry, don't cry, it's Camillia birthday" when seeing her happy with a family she wishes she have
"The thing I want the most, you have it so easily"

She had these thought so many that it made her miserable whenever she's with Camillia.

Naw bro the science guy is a cool guy but damn you guys are right, Amy maybe has a jealousy for camilla bc of how good her life is and how she wishes she had that family and bc Amys aunt saw amy with science guy aunt got mad and that's why Amy wants to step out of their friendship bc the "I like camilla" is probably like she really likes her life and maybe obsession/jealousy for her life I dunno my theory sucks

It's also interesting to point out how different between Camillia and Bibi eventhough they're both popular kind of girls. Camillia has been friend with Amy her whole life but can't tell what is Amy biggest fear so she takes it so lightly without notice. Bibi only met Amy for a couple months but could help Amy avoid that fear because she knew that's what Amy fear the most. Understandable considering how both of their family life are so different too

Also Amy NEVER hated Camilla. Rather she hated her self. She hated her self for feeling jealous of Camilla. But never hated Camilla.

Ok Amy probably aint hate Camillia, but's not "nEvEr", don't you assuming someone else feeling such extreme way like that, you aint even listening to their words 🙄 if you like judging from someone face that much then this chapter obviously has some hatred faces that is not for the dude

Yeah I said "SOMEWHAT because of Camillia", I knew she aint meant to, and I knew Amy meeting that guy aint Camilia idea, dude trying to help Amy and then follow her on his own.
But to Amy eyes, it is somewhat because of Camillia, she said "there's one guy Camillia once trying to introduce to me with, and that's also the reason we fell apart".
And Camillia, she WAS trying to do that, she said "aunty shouldn't have been yelling at Amy because she just meeting up a guy" NOT "ugh that guy followed you home?"

And for a record again, if you like to judging from those 2 drawings that much then "Camillia was running forward, aint looking back and it makes Amy exhausting while Bibi did look back" is the metaphorical difference and the reason how Amy has 2 different feelings for 2 similar persons. Platonic for Camillia and romantic for Bibi.
And it's not meant that Camillia aint care about Amy, Camillia did care, that's why she "peeked back", but still, their hands were falling apart and Amy couldn't keep up with her. While Bibi "fully look back" and hold her with 2 hands. But it's not meant that Bibi cared so much about Amy either, it just how Bibi is and it just how Camillia is. Your 2 pictures just basically showed the difference between their personaility.
