Maybe if it does well enough on TappyToon it will get a physical release here in the states? I know Who Made Me a Princess spooked me that way, so I'm hoping it happens with this too. Guess I'll double dip and pay for the chapters here and get physical later.

EDIT: Also Merry Christmas

And thank you for the chapter kind scanlator

Idk if that's a great gift. Bibi might feel awful seeing those plushies. It's like a "remember the time you killed our rabbit and dog?"

Sure she didn't realize what she did was insane but reminding her of such a horrible 'MISTAKE' seems cruel.

I get it's supposed to be like, "even though they're gone we'll always love them. They were part of our family so here's something to remember them." It's just in poor taste imo :aquadrink:
bibi loved both the rabbit and the dog dearly, she just had a very twisted way to show it. and its actually pretty symbolic that nick gave her those plushes in a box together as well.

the rabbit dying wasnt even her fault, it just died of natural causes. and now knowing that snowball was actually a gift from nick, and also knowing how much bibi treasured snowball (to the point that she preserved its corpse in a jar), we can pretty much infer that she loves nick a lot and treasures whatever he gives her.

now the dog was indeed her fault, but i think even back then bibi never truly understood the "mistake" she made and doesnt consider what she did a mistake to feel bad about (twisted ik but thats just how her mind works). now, bibi understands how her actions then were wrong, but i think she still wouldnt feel remorse over it. nick, in his heart, knows this fact too, he just cant get over the trauma of it.

nick once told bibi that you put the things precious to you in a box, so him giving bibi these two plushes in a box is likely his acceptance towards that day. in the end, bibi only did that to show how much she cared, hence why nick says "i need to make sure that a good kid gets the christmas present she deserves". the rabbit and dog plush is basically saying, "i trust you to take care of these two again because i know you'll treasure them more than i can imagine" which, coming from nick, is huge considering his trauma.

On the subject of Snowball, it died not of natural causes. It died because Bibi didn’t know it shouldn’t be given chocolate.

Thank you so much for this! I love it so much. ILA is at the top of my favorite manga list.

I forgot how twisted she really is. It didn't occur to me that she'd have no remorse over it because she doesn't see it as something wrong. Now that she's older I wonder if she still has no remorse over it but does feel bad about it since it hurt nick so horribly.

She may not have the same emotions as us but she seems to understand that we have them. That being said, it's possible she feels a form of emotional pain knowing she hurt someone she loves and can never undo it. She may not feel it like us but understanding that she should feel it could cause her pain. Or she just doesn't feel anything at all as her social range and emotions are miniscule.

You make really great points btw. I completely forgot the context.

I thought she only killed the dog? Didn't the rabbit just die of natural causes
Fudge I forgot. It's been so long since I read it. It just seems weird to me but the way bibi processes emotions may make it a good gift. I didn't fully consider her disposition when I wrote my comment.

Has her emotional range changed enough that the gift could be a painful reminder, or is it a good gift for someone like her. Showing her that nick loves her despite her flaws and the pain she caused him.
