Far far more complicated they are skipping a lot that's in the Novel to much but her Enslavement saved her.She not Full powered she was and Is Crippled Injured And not been able to access her more that a tiny Fraction of her Ancestors Inheritance, the holy sword would slaughter her. .And lets just say someone playing Matchmaker that wants Lin Xiao to have the Very best Bride and not wind up with a wimp bimbo Princess nor do they want him to have a nice Quiet Life! Funny tibbit about demons there Attracted to magically Powerful Mates .. There Lots of other Motives But this silly one to make certain they wind up together is Really the most Important to them. He want to be a underachiever but he got family that have grander Plans for him than Backup hero or Even Hero .
