Quick analysis of his magic here: MC used some form of lightning manipulation. Lightning, to keep it simple, is a flow of electrons. Manipulating it allows you to move electrons at light speed. If he's moving the electrons of his own body, his body's protons and therefore nuclei would follow because of the magnetic pull the electrons and protons have on each other, thus enabling him to move at light speed. Furthermore, an object moving at light speed experiences no temporal effects at all, meaning that to him, time is essentially frozen. That is, however, only important, if he were to face an opponent with an identical degree of speed, as neither could see each other mowe in that hypothetical scenario.
TL;DR: True lightning manipulation lets you essentially teleport.

this manga isn't bad but i feel like the pacing is a bit too fast, but i guess the author don't wanna waste pages on mundane stuff such as training arc, which is a good move.

This series feels like trash but there's a grain of something interesting about it.
Reminds me a little of that one about the guy who loves kamen rider gets isekaied into a game world and cast as the villain who gets abandoned by his father, admittedly not a lot but a little, we'll see where it goes.

Nichiasa Suki no Otaku ga Akuyaku Seito ni Tenseishita Kekka, Hametsu Flag ga Houkaishiteiku Ken ni Tsuite

that one was pretty good but the LN author got bad luck getting newbie mangaka for the adaptation, which made the manga pretty bad in terms of storytelling.

I can't wrap my head around the fact that lightning(spell) in this world apparently has flat trajectory. Like wtf do you mean, it's a fuckin lightning, it goes zappy zap zapp all over the place.

Every shounen kid has tried to go super saiyan at least once.

...I feel like it would have served his purposes more if he kept that card close to the chest and just risked losing. Fact is, there are no true stakes in this duel for him.
If he loses, she might finally be able to let go of his grudge. If he wins, he can still choose not to be a scumbag with his demand.

In fact, losing might be the better overall outcome as long as he isn't upsetting her by looking like he threw the fight.

I'm just baffled that he sank 200 hours into the game this is allegedly based and completed every route - including hers - but still to remember the blurbs from some strategy guide to recall what any of her traits or abilities are.

The dude knowing her abilities better than she does (because he took her from L1 to L99 or whatever) would've felt like a better win than him just crushing her with brute force.
