reread this manga. even though the story become boring for me at the latest chapter but it still be the one that has the best introduction than a lot of fantasy isekai that I read so far (at least, in my opinion)
id argue that the initial Brancott arc is one of the best low stakes isekais ever and the fact Kaoru relies on subterfuge and warcrimes in the War of the Angel because shes not a chemical engineer, its just that the post-first-time-skip is not great. Actually id say its bad, maybe even terrible. Princess of Crows is a light in the dark but until Reiko and Kyoko show up after having blackmailed god, the story is distinctly lacking in the signature FUNA Nonsense that makes FUNA's works work. but the manga also just wrote out the meta joke that FUNA doesnt get how cosmetics would actually propagate in a mideval world where in 80k gold Ankha and the Reiner maids advertise for Mitsuha where as in potions Kaoru can never sell shampoo and soap because the nobility who would buy it all keep it a secret.
hell, the celestine PoV chapters, since theyre exclusively narration, are also skipped over, despite being some of the most nuanced writing in the story. Like Kaoru isnt a person to God or Celestine, shes a Bouquet of Flowers. Reiko the heart shaped box of chocolates, and Kyoko tickets to go watch a scifi romance, and Celestine's base abilities package to the girls is less appropriate then it is the behavior of an overly possessive crush.
I hate how some manga artists draw adult characters to look like children, she does not look like an adult.
Celestine explicitly made Kaoru look way younger then her requested 15YO body in one of the PoV chapters because her 10th generation subroutines dont understand boobs.
