And then 3 days before dying she’ll call her to say sorry about what she said, and the daughter will have no choice but to forgive her… anyway we’re pretty close to where the anime ended, I wonder if there’s another arc after that or if the story will end like the anime did
How the anime has ended? Please remind me if you can.

Edit: Nvm, I've rewatched last 2 episodes. Manga raws (ch. 66) are roughly at the moment, where Yoshida flies away from Hokkaido. Manga has more dialogue to offer, the story is probably a little bit extended and definitely better portrayed than what the anime has to offer, but seem like you'll have to wait for your answer another month. Maybe some LN reader will be able to help you more.
But honestly, beside possible extended version of an ending, I don't see why the story should be dragged out. It's fully resolved, the plot has met it's end, like... There is nothing more to it other than wrapping things up nicely.

Edit2: Seems like next chapter or two will end the series (ch. 67/68).

Am I supposed to believe that after all of this, they'll still be able to become a normal family? Because I don't think this is going to end woth Sayu being disowned and going back living with Yoshida.

Honestly, the only one with power to act right now is the brother.
He has a good relationship with the mother and a lot of money.
Talk to the mom, take advantage of her anger, take Sayu out of the house and rent some apartment for her, she could even help pay for it while working part time somewhere.
The mother doesn't even have to know, she could disown the girl for all we care.

The best thing right now is for Sayu to be out of the house, away from her mother and back to school.
As for the mother? We can't really do anything about her, just send her to a retirement home when she's old and don't show up for the funeral.

Yeah sounds about right.
Issa would be an ass if he still try to keep a neutral stance here, wonder which way the story would go from this point.

Never liked the mother in the anime and in the light novel. Classic example of a narcissist. "Me, Me, Me" is all she says. She doesn't even take one second to consider the shit she's put her own daughter threw, her own son threw.

I sincerely hope she dies a cold and painful death.

Fuck. Her.
Even having watched the anime years ago, I still have to ask myself:

As a parent how do you even come back from this? You've effectively killed yourself in front of both of your children. No matter how this issue is resolved they'll remember this shit for the rest of their lives that deep down you put your own image over their well-being.

This is a type of Karen who thinks of herself than her family. A degenerate human being unworthy of having a family.

If I were in Yoshida's shoes, I'd give her a high five.

In the face.

With a chair.
