@twinklecake Shouldn't be so quick to judge the unexplainable. Sure it's probably quackery, but it may just not yet be understood. So many things are forgotten or skipped over in the name of convenience.

Look where we are, what we have now compared to the past. I personally think we should get back to simpler times, the heavy industry and excessive single-use trash that runs society isn't a great look. The convenience factor is also doing more harm than good. Obesity, diabetes, cancers, mental health issues, and the obvious environmental damage.

@BuffSoul You can judge. It was proven that acupuncture doesn't have such capabilities. Same with Chinese martial arts.
Chinese martial arts are notorious for being useless in real fight, yet countless people still believe them being superior. Same is here.

@BuffSoul Acupuncture has been tested and retested rigorously and disproven time and time again, so your lack of understanding is merely a lack of education rather than some vague quality of unknowableness to the functionality of human bodies.

Also, do you seriously not realize the hypocrisy of being on this website and complaining about the convenience factor? In the comments section of a comic that basically offers little else than instant gratification through the idea of becoming accomplished without putting in the years of effort actually getting good? Do you actually do something about the issues you're bringing up, or is your own garbage covered with single-use trash like we all know it is? And most importantly, how in the fuck is any of that even relevant to the viability of acupuncture as a substitute for real medicine?

Go ahead and practice what you preach by getting off the internet forever, please. It'll be great for everyone involved, I promise.

Theres one benefit from Acupuncture. Its the attention and care you receive from another person, serotonin and stuff. The needles themselves does nothing or close to nothing except possibly become vectors for infection. Imagine piercing the skin which is there to keep shit out. Might as well get a massage instead.

You're elderly couple driving a van.
On the side of the road you see a bum roasting fish.
What do you do?

Of course! Stop the van, exit approach the bum and ask if you can have the fish too.

What the heck.

@permisan: Miraculous acupuncture is a common trop in manhwa and especially in manhua. At least there's no pill refining.

When are we going to see his alchemy, tea brewing and pill refining? My trope bingo isn't quite there yet.😆
