huh . He actually learned shaolin qi gong and here I thought it was just the hand technique, seems the author's not above a retcon or two when running out of ideas. Also our mc is a jerk. Why not use his own hair, why bully the poor distressed grandma? Also, i d do not see him objecting to their deification of him. All that power and fame's addling his head
@RevereShin I'm actually okay with the qigong and the acupuncture. both are touted in legends and epics for being able to do what our mc did in this chapter and he
is learning all these skills from a
legendary book ala tom marvelo riddle's diary. That diary needed suspension of disbelief in the first place after all. I'd say from the start this was already obeying all the classic Xianxia ( wuxia) power fantasy tropes of:
[ul] coming into possession of a mystical artifact,
learning powerful skills from said artifact,
getting one's body reformed (twice),
meeting a harem's worth of pretty wife candidates,
and now going on a journey. [/ul]
It's porbably safe to say this is a korean riff on a chinese xianxia webtoon, typically poor execution in all lol.
