Yeah.... Wind summoning? DEFINITELY missed the part about where he used experience points to become a Mystic Warlock Magician/Cultivator/Elementalist deity.

I only remember him learning weird fighting techniques, especially begging ability and dog stick beating. So, does that mean all Korean beggers have element control Jesus Moses powers? He going to part the Red Sea next?

Anyway besides that complete curve ball. What sort of Oriental medicine student doesn't bring his packet of needles? I'd understand if it was like a hacksaw or katana he forgot, but it's basically a tiny box.

This series is something no one should be taking seriously reading unless you want to lose your mind over how fucking stupid it is 🤣.

Really feels like that the author or the artist has forgot to show us something really crucial before, since that whole "controlling wind to create acupuncture needles w/ human hair" totally came out of the bushes...

Aaaaaaaaaaaand this is where I'm noping out.

I can grant that he finds a magic book that gives him experiences from previous owners. I can grant that he uses it to become literally Adonis. I can even accept that the Eastern medicine shit will let him heal people, feel emotions and 'qi', but if you're literally going to make him the Avatar, I'm out.

Pretty sure he learned air control when he asked how to study and he learned kung fu

Edit. Air manipulation. He learned it first page of chapter 4

I mean "i forgot my needles" if you have any kind of sewing needle you can stop any bleeding in an emergency with some generic regular-ass thread, but his needles are for accupunture, if you have a hole the size of a fist in your abdomen (or 2) you bet that thing punctured at LEAST the colon in one part, that kid needs urgent surgery and antibiotics (and i mean in less than 30 minutes for the intestine to be viable again after the procedure) also... yeah, our boi is also Avatar, does this thing go anywhere or just "more adventures and more powers"?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand this chapter finally broke me. Nope nope nope nope nope. Come on. What kind of BULLSHIT is that?????? I can accept almost everything else in this manhwa (except the voodoo book magic but that’s the whole point of this story so I let it slide, oh, and all the oriental medicine stuff, I can believe like 20-25% of it, nowhere near OMNIPOTENT MEDICINE, modern medicine is bull crap, ancient medicine and wild herbs only!) BUT THE RANDOM WUXIA/MURIM ACTUAL MAGIC SHENANIGANS?? Come oonnnnnnnnnn.

huh . He actually learned shaolin qi gong and here I thought it was just the hand technique, seems the author's not above a retcon or two when running out of ideas. Also our mc is a jerk. Why not use his own hair, why bully the poor distressed grandma? Also, i d do not see him objecting to their deification of him. All that power and fame's addling his head

@RevereShin I'm actually okay with the qigong and the acupuncture. both are touted in legends and epics for being able to do what our mc did in this chapter and he is learning all these skills from a legendary book ala tom marvelo riddle's diary. That diary needed suspension of disbelief in the first place after all. I'd say from the start this was already obeying all the classic Xianxia ( wuxia) power fantasy tropes of:
[ul] coming into possession of a mystical artifact,
learning powerful skills from said artifact,
getting one's body reformed (twice),
meeting a harem's worth of pretty wife candidates,
and now going on a journey. [/ul]

It's porbably safe to say this is a korean riff on a chinese xianxia webtoon, typically poor execution in all lol.

I was enjoying this so far... No rapey or vengeance incarnate vibes, no random conspiracy or people above the law doing whatever they like, the protagonist is genuinely a nice slice of life teenager discovering himself with a help of a magic book. It was too suspicious:

IE I was wondering when the author would go full reee

Now we know.

Why did the author complicate things by making the mc be able to stick air inside an injured boy instead of just making the mc having needles from the get go.
