@Beento fyi, I did not read their translation, but I am concerned for the other group, a lot of groups have dropped their series just because they got sniped and they are tired from arguing with the other team. So I'd like for this group to not drop it since it is a really good series.

@elezend I assure you that there will be tons of manhwas coming this month and next month for you to translate, and while I understand that you're doing this for your sister it's not really a good move for othet people as you've essentially downgraded their efforts to translate this work.

edit: I've just seen the comments after finishing the chapter. how regrettable and I do hope this is a one-time effort. thanks for all the hard work, and while it isn't bad per say, internet etiquette deems that once uploads stop for 3 months. is it only fair game to pick up a work that's been "dropped"

The translation was not stolen either. Especially since the translation is not bad.

Logically, we do not have the right to translate when the project has an official release, therefore legal ... here nothing is legal.

And I'll try to explain my version of sniping I hope this will help, sniping is an act of translating a chapter of a series when another group has actually translated that series and is updating constantly, they would translate the continuation of the chapter that the other group did even though the other group is still working hard on it.

Now, I do realize that everything here is illegal, but not sniping is more towards having a good etiquette to other people, appreciating that they've gone through so much to actually translate that chapter and they might be working on a chapter that you currently did. So sniping is not "illegal" but it's more so towards you being grateful and appreciating the other group's efforts to push out even one chapter of that series. You'd know how much effort a group does when they try to finish one chapter, the time they gave to scanlating a single series, sometimes they'd have to deal with certain readers telling them that they're not good enough, telling them that they need to speed up, etc.

So there's a lot going on in a team, and not sniping them is one of the acts that shows that you appreciate their efforts.

@N_Yuzuki I just think some people should refrain from criticizing when they're not fucked up doing the same. you just have to wait for their favorite scantrad to come out. I find it unfair to devalue the work of certain people for free.

I greatly appreciate the Somnolent Dog scans but that does not prevent me from appreciating the work of another, on the contrary I will read the 2 versions without being in the negative review.

And honestly I don't think SDS will stop translating for so little ...

at the end the comments section is full of unnecessary drama instead of cool discussion about the webtoon.
