Yeah no. Am I supposed to feel anything positive towards the prince?

No matter how many of his flags Vio raises, it doesn't matter because he's already proven to be bad for her and harmful to be around in many senses of the word. At this point, he might as well just leave her alone.

It's just a little thing but my OCD is tingling.
Page 10 "...reach out to is her, no?" "no?" isn't a question, something like "is it not?" would be.

uhh is this the otome where the girl had to be in jail or something and had to do sewing or something?
(ik its not otome but trying to change the mc's path of destruction is basically otome... if not then just tell me what it is then...)

@LowSanity I heard that "no?" is still acceptable, it comes from another English region which is different from America and England but I don't remember which region that is.

@bingel919 I wouldn't be suprised if some of the penal colonies were using this degenerate form of imperial English ;p
I will need to calm my OCD some other way.

so......why should she care if the dude damaged his cape? its not her fault or problem so if she steps in and help him to get affection points with the prince its merely for the plot contradicting anything she has been trying to do until now.

She is doing a really bad job of setting up her sister with the Prince. Where is Keima when you need him?😂😂

For those who are complaining about the Prince:
Prince seems to be the son of a commoner-turned-second-queen or something, and has a massive inferiority complex about it. So last time he fell in love with Maryjun who despite having the same problem and being bullied for it, stayed positive and kind. This time, the fact that Violet is "so kind" to her (in normal people's perception), combined with the fact that she's not nagging him anymore and being helpful instead, makes him like her instead.
He wasn't really a "good person" in the other timeline, and he's not any different now, he's just an average person with troubles of his own who will likely get better over time because of (unintentional) healing influences by the MC.

It's pretty common to hear non-native English speakers ending a sentence with ", no?" or ", or?". The meaning is perfectly understandable, but it's not correct grammar, and you won't hear a native speaker construct a sentence like that. I'm not positive on this, but I think ending a sentence like that is pretty common in French, so the "region" you're thinking of may be one of the several mixed English/French regions.

It'd be more proper to put the question at the beginning of the sentence instead of the end, as in "Shouldn't you have reached out to her instead?". Even then, the sentence is still poorly worded though, as who "she" is referring to is very ambiguous. That may be intentional on part of the author, but it doesn't really work well in English, where you would use the person's name instead of a pronoun in that situation.

@lenteraneko Glad you catch that. That box is the plot twist. The box is of royal bloodline and is plotting to usurp the throne by shaming the prince.

I see everyone else here has the same "I don't care if you suffer" mentality towards the prince. I too am part of that camp. But our protagonist is the protagonist, so she probably won't let this guy go out with a slightly torn cape...

its pretty common for native English speakers to ask a question with just "no?" as well.
Its like "ka na". Not actually a question, but phrased/pronounced as one while looking for agreement.

As an American who speaks English, I can say it is hard to go through life without hearing "no?" used. I suppose someone in a drastically different environment might be able to... but chances are, they are just ignoring/forgetting events where people around them used it. Or maybe they failed to verbalize the sentence properly in their head, causing them not to understand it. (read everything like a statement, but pause and then raise your pitch for "no" like you would for a question)

Okay, I'm confused here. Is it Yulan who is the concubine's son or Prince Claudia? And what exactly is their relationship that causes the two of them to act like this towards one another? Also, why is everyone concerned over what the main cast will do when it's the background characters people should be worried about! That dad's smile says he's plotting something and the maid Marin says she won't forgive the family either. My plot senses are tingling! Something bad is coming I just know it! ;_;
