I trained an AI to make up new Romance manhwa/manhua names

More specifically, I trained a neural network on all manga under the category Romance and shoujo/josei (a genre I read a lot of), with the condition that they are from manhwa or manhua (no manga, because the names are mostly listed in romanji, which leads to some pretty nonsensical titles). I made use of these modules: https://github.com/jcjohnson/torch-rnn

What I got was.. pretty funny not going to lie. Here's a showcase of some of the results.

First, some actually likely titles:

As you might notice, romanized Korean words slip in here and there, often as a purported author in parentheses. I have no idea if they mean anything or not! Obviously, Dukes and villainesses come up a lot, along with a lot of love. I think I will train a model on isekai names next.

Is it creates a whole story like AI dungeonor just a title? And I read the forum title while half asleep so I thought you trained AI to CREATE a Manga/manhwa! Lol. I actually need an illustrator for my book.

@MoonlightFairy No, unfortunately. That would be really cool, but I have no idea how I would get the plaintext version of enough full manhua. In fact, at first I wanted to make a "first chapter script" generator, but no online tools that find text in pngs and converts to plaintext worked very well. (Plus the sfx got in the way, big time.) Even if it had worked, the result would probably be nonsense! You need a lot of data to make a model generate something even close to a coherent paragraph. Plus I don't think I would use a RNN for that but rather a transformer.

Good luck finding an illustrator! I actually was considering figuring out how to generate novel/manhua romance covers (They can be pretty samey) and still might try that in the future.

@justforthelulz That's really funny, and in fact I've seen "taming a maid" pop up more that once when sampling! I decided to double-check my dataset and the only "taming" manhua/manhwa that show up are:

Taming a Defective Angel
Taming the Cat Master
Taming the Tomboy
Taming the Possessive Girl

I guess that format + maid being pretty common makes it pretty likely!
