Putting powdered soup mix in oatmeal is actually pretty decent. I suspect popcorn porridge would be kind of similar. When you've not got much time though, powdered soup mixes are indeed a hack for flavoring stuff.

It's not like the assassins seem to be all that united - which once again makes sense, you'd want your field agents to have as little knowledge about each other and the organisation as possible, so that they can't spill any secrets and you have plausible deniability to never have known them. But also, that leads to people like Rose who'll eventually decide to jump ship and aim for greener pastures once they have found something else to live for, and also realise that their likely fate is to die young if they keep to their line of work.
A common risk when using undercover operators is always, that they may start to sympathise with the ones they infiltrate. And well, it's honestly hard not to sympathise with Rose and Benika here.
Curious to see if Hibai may not develop in an interesting direction, eventually.
