I don't know how, but I don't think I've encountered this trope yet. Most of the bath house scenes I've seen thus far were mostly platonic (pre-couple), separated by sex (hetero comics), or after marriage/dating. And in all of those that I read no one passed out.

Will never understand Japan's relationship with nudity. 8 know they're Manga but so often they can't kiss, but bathe together just at fine. In most countries kissing comes long before seeing them nude
