Is it only me that feels that the mc's character is very different from chapter 1? its 5 years pass but he lost his reincarnated matured spirit and became an actual kid than when he was a baby. You telling me that he never experimented on magic or cared about his brother's health for the pass 5 years?

This is what makes timeskips weird. We get no true progression of the character in some works, it is especially obvious in this one where there is such a drastic change in character; overall glad to not be the only one who thinks MC became more immature.
