They all seem alright with him, not some edgelord manga, and brat loli just have a foul personality, not like she's out to get him or anything. He just simply can no longer keep up with them. They said it, MC himself said it. He's baggage.

Seems like everyone missed the part about the "5" doesn't include the MC because he had no presence.

@gregger What admin are you talking about? They're a party of adventurers going around risking their lives doing quests. Unless you mean they should treat him as a camp guard or baggage carrier, instead of just letting him go with tons of monies to live another life? Also, a level 10 guy isn't going to last in a level 99 area.

@IMACOP, I was thinking more PR work? I mean he went off to be a governor or something so that at least requires you have good communication/management skills, so for PR he could be the guy talking to the press since in this chapter apparently the team does get interviewed by the press on their journey. I didn't mean he should be a bag boy, just another job which can help support the team rather than being kicked off.
I just feel it's a waste to let someone who has fighting experience go just because he wont get "stronger"

As someone who read a bit of the novel, I can definitely say that I like the manga more for now.

The novel.... was not very good. I quit after a while because it felt poorly written and disjointed with the passage of time and events. The manga feels a lot more "connected", the story actually feels a story and not just a collection of small events. I feel that the manga "fills the gaps" better.

Of course it's still very early, so we will see. But I'm more optimistic compared to the novel.

So the 4 present were responsible? How idiotic that they made that vote with 4/5 or 4/6 of the party present. I didn't mind the dismissal because I thought it was in his best interests but they really don't seem to have thought it through. That party is going to dissolve so fucking fast and it has nothing to do with the MC and everything to do with horrible decision making. It's one thing to pass a ruling with a party member rejecting it and another to go around them to do it. Also this start is mega slow.

PR work would get him recognized....but not in a good way. You have 5 strong people and a random guy PRing for them....what do you think the press is going to say about him? Like seriously take a moment and think about that.
Second, he didn't "go off" to be a governor. His party as a whole was given that area as a reward for saving it and they in turn gave it to him as part of his compensation. Nothing so far has been said about him having good communication/management skills.....but he does seem to have good people skill as it's shown he's at least won the hearts of two of his party mates (one probably as a big brother figure) and before he and Hero got their skills he seemed to be the center of his friends.
Finally, experience and strength goes hand and hand. When encountering a dangerous place, you want someone with both experience and strength. He has experience but not the strength. He was already falling behind them and they are going to somewhere much more dangerous. They made a rational decision to let him go for his own sake despite them (with one exception) actually wanting him in the party. It's not really a waste.

She said "she was not the only one". Also....umm....Tiana is the one wearing fishnets...Emma is the bratty loli. So that's 4/5, even if Sorc loli was there and vetoed....it would have still been a 4/5 in favor....so not really idiotic.

@gregger I get you, but it doesn't seem to me like they need a PR or admin guy. They just got interviewed when they're in the biggest adventurer holy land. Doesn't mean they're going to get surrounded by press in every city. Also they're only in town to take quests or something, then proceed to camp and grind in hell mode. They don't have a base too, so there's really no point in having a PR guy stay back who knows which town doing nothing 99% of the time then getting a handout when they return to cash in the loot. They don't want that and MC doesn't want that either.

It's not really a waste of MC's experience, if it's not going to be of use anyway. This party isn't like edgelord stories arses where everything is pushed to the MC while they beat on him. They are as experienced as he is and beyond stronger than him in everything else. Sure, he was the one who got them strong, but now he is literally being carried, and they have to protect him too. He can start a new party to put his experience to use, but the same thing will repeat, that's why he decided not to. It's just his limit (since he was meant to be a ruler all along, not an adventurer).

@SingLove It can be considered idiotic, I guess. Since they mentioned how close the mage loli is with MC and she's the one not there. Yeah, it'll still be majority, but there's the chance that mage loli will have none of it and quit the party, ya. Better to have everyone there, so no further issues will pop out, especially right before going to nightmare mode.

if you have such a growth cheat with you you have to take care of him and powerlevel him from time to time
which they clearly didnt or he would be able to keep up
besides if you realy want 1 person to stay in a team then you find a new role for him and if need be create one
they didn't so they can cry all they want but fact is those 4 threw the mc away after using him
well if she knew of his destined occupation then big boob with glasses chan can be considered having done her share

@Roadrunner9000 It doesn't matter if they spent double the time to stop everyone's progress just to level him. He just don't have any skills to keep up with them. Even if he somehow 'maxed out', he'll just be a maxed normal adventurer, in a party of maxed heroes and monsters, going to fight against demon king and the like. He simply have no place in such a high level party. This is something MC himself recognized, they only dragged it on for so long (until the start of the manga) because friendship and all, and MC's own denial. If you can't discard a useless card, whether guilt, affection or whatever, in the end you'll just pull everyone down. It's harsh, it sucks, but that's just how it is. What new role do you want them to give him? Like I mentioned, a gofer? You know how insulting that is?

They treated him well enough, compensate him well enough. Didn't shit on him or anything, pretty clear they cared about him (yes, even brat loli and her foul mouth, don't know about her childhood friend though, but he's chill). Things just didn't work out and they separated amicably. So why the need to paint one side as the "bad guys"?

@Silwith Nowhere did brat loli dictate kicking him out. They, the majority decided, he's dead weight. They didn't wait for mage loli because they've got the majority already, dumb decision, I know, but still, they probably just think mage loli will whine and cry but not do anything drastic like leave, since that's what most people will do.

The pacing of this chapter was deeply unfortunate. Seeing more of the former parties politics is fine. I think its...kinda EARLY but whatever. Having that toxic loli be the mouthpiece of said story? I hate that decision. She's unpleasant. I'm hoping the mc gets focus in the coming chapters, cause this one was kinda painful to read.
