reminds me of Break Blade

it also feels indecisive of what it wants to be. They're slaves for a couple chapters, home attendants for a couple chapters, gladiators for a couple chapters, mercenaries for a couple chapters.

Totally see the similarity. Nothing wrong with a manga trying different things to see what works. I can count a dozen that started differently than they turned out. Yuu yuu hakusho, Dragon Ball, Bleach. Anyway, the white v black fight won me over in this series. That's where I think it hit the sweet spot.

It is quite fun to read although some scene doesn't make any sense.

This seems like one of those series where the plot only moves forward through stupidity and unlikely coincidences.

I was enjoying this series, until ManhwaFreak had to come in and ruin everything with their shit translations and greed.

I've seen manga where mc power is so high value that it's like X0,002 for example and would only shows up as 002. But for mc in this case, it's only appearing as 2. Also, are people's values all rounded up/down or something? Really interesting so far but the ludia value is kinda weird.

Mostly enjoying this so far. It reminds me a lot of Code Geass but swap in OP pilot MC for Lelouch's planning. Perhaps there will end up being a driving force for why things are moving the way they are, but the plot overall seems pretty arbitrary with most groups simply fighting for their own self-interest.

The isekai part of it is also a curious twist with not only other classmates but other earthlings popping up all over the place, and putting more emphasis on the mercenary aspect to the fighters. When the enemy dies, it might just be a former friend, or at least it's likely not actually someone related to the people who are dictating the war.

ETA: I don't know I missed them putting the power levels into context or if it's just something that's meant to feel vague and arbitrary. It seems like anything below 10k is trash (unless plot makes an exception) while most decent fighters are between 30-50k. I might be misunderstanding it, but the author keeps listing a 'max' limit for each machine that go into values much, much larger, but it doesn't seem like anyone is capable of actually measuring those values nevermind managing them with their current economy and militaries. I won't speculate on the mystery of '2' but clearly the MC is operating in a different league from 99% of the world's people.

Y'know, this as well as Trapped in a Dating Sim and I'm the Evil Lord of an Galactic Empire are probably the manga to read after you're done with Knights & Magic. Mecha isekai is probably the most underrated subgenre of isekai.
