I feel this chapter was also trying to throw a bone to all the people who were complaining about Death being dumb and it being unlikely that he was the first to insult her in a will. It did feel a little contrived, but whatever, let's just move on from that.

But he's getting more confident and I wonder how much more Death can corner him if she's getting him used to all kinds of suffering.

oof I really like that line "I treat all you humans the same way, you just experience it a few more times." This is one helluva line. I've never seen it iterated before so if it's author original props to him/her.

And well, I was a little annoyed at MC before but this chapter where we understand that it was all luck of the draw and he pulled the short stick made me far more sympathetic to him. He has every right to be angry and to say what he's saying. He finally accepts he's nothing compared to Death and that he has no escape. If all he has to do is endure then he'll endure. But he won't do anything like change for the sake of appeasing Death just because she's throwing a tantrum like a child. There's no 'thank you' or 'you're welcome' moment to be hand. All it is now is "Fuck Death"

I get what he's doing. It might kind of work with humans, but it seems a little bally to try it with higher powers that can read your mind and have borderline absolute control over you.

Pretty much confirmed my thoughts that death is fragile whiney baby. I'm angery boo hoo from randomly reading a human's last message that indirectly references me. It's gotten really stale since Mc probably won't be given a good body so that an arc can even last any significant amount of time. What is even the point of the story? If she really hates that he was looking down on death, then maybe making him die over and over is a stupid idea. Nothing makes death more trivial than dying multiple times, if anything this just makes him resent life even more since the LIFE is usually terrible and even short meanwhile dying means its over.
All these beings are assholes damn. The Death itself and all the AFTER death beings sound like fuckin losers.
