@Vatri @botodopo
Believe me, when I was 6 years old, I'm running around the place, "equip" a stick while calling it my sword, shouting my "ultimate skill" or Kamehameha.
I believe even nowadays, a family of Martial arts, etc. will teach their kids those things at 6 years old or sooner as well.
I even think that 6 years old is rather late for a kid who will become the KING's sword/personal bodyguard.

Don't worry, she is as weak as any normal kid who learn Martial art, it's not like those Isekai series.
She can't win adults.

i feel so bad for luce, she's so young yet enduring all alone... i wish she'd talk to someone about this but i know she won't lmao. i wonder if she'll actually even manage to run away though, she's very loved

@Loli_Omamoritai Weird flex but okay, nah everybody did that at least once in their life.

Yeah for martial art and other sports it's totally normal as you said but it's a real sword here, she's doing a fight without any kind of protection, how can she even lift the sword ?! 1,2kg for a light sword, and let'say they did a tinier sword for her to use, it would still be 700-600g she has to lift for a long time.
I don't practice any kind of sports apart of table tennis but I believe you can't just do a fight without protections even more with a 6 yo lol. And with real swords or weapon. I know it's not our world but she is important in the settings so why do they learn sword fighting to a 6 yo with a real sword, no doctor in sight if anything happened, some strands on her face/untied hair that could be distracting (why does she have such long hair for a future bodyguard ?), she will protect the king but its's not by bleeding to death bc of an injury that she will accomplish it.

"she can't win adult" uh the man did said "it wont be long until this old body is defeated".

sorry for mistakes, english is not my first language

@mammaria : she was just as loved in the first time line too, kind of makes her situation worse since she knows that all that love can be discarded at the drop of a hat.

@sjmcc13 I was wondering about that. If she could see the future, why did she originally cause the inheritance struggle? And how could what seems like loving baka-dere parents (dont remember the proper name for the trope) end up despise her as useless? Also why didn't she ever consult the parents about the future if she intended to step down anyway (I assume it is from something she saw in her future-vision, where her talking about her future-vision and intending to not fight her brother, ended up poorly. But what exactly did happen?)?

@feha : in the webnovel, she was a white mage with (IIRC rare) healing and barrier magic, but her brother was talented in multiple elements of offensive magic, her parents wanted the child who could kill squads and small forces on 1 blow to inherit, against tradition grandparents objected and it caused infighting that weakened the nation.

As the first wn chapter has a translator note apparently stating that it seems only the offensive magic was referred to as magic, and her healing and barrier was described with a different term closer to power.

@sjmcc13 did her parents really end up abandoning her...?? it seems so unthinkable... aaaaah that's very sad, i had hoped it was a misunderstanding... like maybe they didn't want her to inherit but they still loved her... i mean even if that was the case it would be hurtful but better than just plain out discarding her;;;

@mammaria : I do not remember it saying that they discarded her, but they were willing to fight over the inheritance of their title. So they definitely stopped valuing her as much as her brother.

Somehow, knowing that she ends up being the ‘unfavorite’ after all the love that her parents showed her, absolutely breaks my heart.

I'm really curious if what she's 'seeing' are true prophecy or actual enemy plot???
