Oh, so the ridiculous tea leave conspiracy that we were all complaining was actually part of a bigger conspiracy. There's a ton of things still wrong with it, but with this new misunderstanding plot that just got introduced, I'm not holding my breath.
I didn't find her misunderstanding the proposal as cute or funny, honestly these types of misunderstanding are so overdone and so overly forced, I don't know why any author still continues to do them.
Ah yes the classic misunderstood marriage proposal that adds at least 4 LN's worth of filler content to the story because people are never able to discuss or reconcile with these things once the magic moment has passed.
Why cant we have evil bitches be evil, even the bad uncle was framed apparently. Why cant japanese stories just have a good thought out ending instead of them milking any story with popularity until it becomes a husk of its former self and people drop it?
Eh honestly this feels like a good ending point so I will just headcannnon it into them getting married and good riddance.
This could've been a solid 18 to 20 chapter story with a nice bow on top. The stuff with the uncle felt very forced and rushed. Now it revealed there was someone behind that. Claude's proposal was snubbed. Not sure what to look forward to from here but ill give it a few more chapters.
