With a fresh bloodstain, flush with cold water before it dries. Hot water causes protein stains like blood or milk to set. If possible, use a 0.9% saline solution (dissolve 9 grams of salt in 1 liter of water, or approximately half a tablespoon of salt in a quart of water) to soak the clothing, preferably overnight. Pre-treat the bloodstain with liquid laundry detergent, rubbing it in and letting it sit for five minutes, and then wash normally. If the bloodstain has already dried, hydrogen peroxide can be effective, although it may have a bleaching effect on darker on non-colorfast clothes, so you may want to test it on an inconspicuous spot first to see if it affects the color before applying it to the bloodstain.

They should really store it in a picture frame or something if they don't want to get it dirty.

... Just throw it in the wash. Something like Persil, colorsafe bleach alternative, and some white vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser. If you have a steam setting use it, and stick with the coldest water you can. Congrats, the blood stains and pretty much everything comes out with modern detergent. You don't even have to separate whites and colors with modern machines. People really over complicate the washing.
